Delicious Wheat Free and Dairy Free Dessert I Can Eat!

I can’t eat dairy and I don’t tolerate wheat too well so finding a dessert I CAN eat can be tough.  One of my favorite (super easy) treats is cooked apples.  I love apples!  You don’t have to be a chef to whip up this easy dessert.

You can do the same thing with bananas.  My grandmother used to make cooked apples and bananas for breakfast when we would spend the night with her.  So good with a warm cup of coffee and a slice or two of bacon on the side!

This is incredibly easy to fix and is naturally sweet enough to make you think you've cheated.

Cooked Apples

Ingredients

- 2 large apples Find the sweetest apples you can. Core and peeled if desired.

- 2 tablespoons+ butter Only use real butter, organic and from grass fed cows is best

- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

- 2 tablespoons Full Fat Coconut Milk For drizzling over your cooked apples


Instructions

Slice and core your apples. In a large pan over medium heat, melt your butter. Be sure to use enough butter to coat the bottom of the pan well. Add your apple slices to the pan. Cook until soft. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apples and drizzle with the coconut milk. Eat while warm!
