When you do what you love, when you do what you were pfut on this earth for, Life should be Easy, no matter the struggle.
About 13 years ago, in New Jersey at my parents crib, I sat at the dinner table talking about wrestling and my last collegiate wrestling tournament EVER was coming up, and my Mother says to me,
"I think God put you on this earth to make people strong."
This was a time in my life when I needed clarity and figure out what I wanted to do, as my last semester in college was approaching and then off to the working world.
I was at that time Teaching Physical & Health Education at PS 73 in New York City and coaching young and upcoming stud athletes from my parents basement gym.
I was still a bit lost and even scared to make the move and open up my own gym.
Until I realized that my Mother, was RIGHT.
That moment seems like yesterday, and now I am 36 and I see too many people nowadays unsure of what they should be doing in life. People living with regrets.
People copying others and NOT being who they are meant to be. If waking up every morning is a struggle and it exhausts you, then you're not truly living.
Life is like lifting.
You gotta find a way to make it happen.
You don't get strong by avoiding the squat rack, NO. You get inside that squat rack and get under that bar and push like a Mad Man possessed. In life, you get what you earn. So.
Why were you put on this earth?
Figure it out and attack life.
Make it happen.
Don't pull that "New Years Resolution" or “I’ll start on Monday” BS.
