· Eat 3 meals a day with a snack at night
· Include good protein and fiber source at each meal/snack
· Avoid eating high sugar foods by themselves
· Avoid: caffeine, chocolate, citrus, bananas, avocado, dried fruit, peanuts, soy nuts, soy sauce, raw onions, aspartame (NutraSweet), MSG, sulfites, nitrates and nitrites
· Avoid tyramine which is a substance found naturally in some foods. It's especially found in aged and fermented foods, such as: aged cheeses, smoked fish, cured meats, pickled foods, vinegar. Also, foods high in protein may contain more tyramine if they have been stored for a long time or have not been kept cold enough (cold cuts, deli meat, leftovers)
