While these foods are by no means a cure to any disease or health condition, they do contain powerful nutrients that can help you live a longer, healthier life.

Unfortunately, seniors often struggle with a loss of appetite, dehydration and other conditions that may make eating healthy a challenge. That’s why it’s important to get in the nutrients wherever and however possible. Consider making some easy switches in your daily diet to help you eat healthy. For example, dried fruit is full of bad sugars, but fresh fruit offers vitamins and antioxidants we need!
