I started on my path of meditation at the age of 17 discovering the benefits of many different types of meditation. At the age of 21 I was introduced to Mindfulness Meditation and I have been in the practice of Mindfulness Meditation for over 20 years. In 2014 I started Meditating Mama and now I guide and teach public and private Semi Guided Mindfulness Meditation classes for Beginners all over San Diego.
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
For many years I was a student of meditation working on relieving my own personal anxiety and how to manage it through meditation and being taught how meditation could improve my life. I first hand know what it is like to suffer with anxiety, but have also experienced the joy of relieving it on my own. Now it is my turn to take these skills and tools and teach them to others.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Relaxed and calm and even a little sleepy. Very happy and content.
What I say to someone who has never tried Meditation?
Meditation is as simple as breathing and does not need to be done for hours and hours to get results. I even have a video where I teach a 60 second meditation. During my sessions you are completely guided and supported. I focus on Meditation for beginners so you are in great hands.
