While I have been in health, wellness and fitness for almost 15 years, the last four years have really shaped my practice. I suffered from unexplainable weight gain, fatigue, hair loss, and a plethora of body changes. I didn't understand what was happening to me. After a traumatic loss of a loved one, my body came crashing down. My adrenal fatigue turned into anxiety, panic attacks and so much more. But there was a solution! Functional nutrition, herbs and meditative practices have healed my body. I'm still a work in progress, but I am not where I used to be.
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
Seeing family and friends suffer from chronic diseases piqued my interest in health and wellness. It became a way of living for me, then I started wanting to help others do that same. That was in 2004.
