What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help people. When I discovered biofeedback it opened a new world to me. I realized that using very simple techniques, people could feel better very quickly.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Most clients say that it was very powerful to see on the computer what their bodies were actually doing; then, even more powerful to see that they could change their responses in a positive way. Most say that they feel more calmer after just one visit.
What I say to someone who has never tried Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Biofeedback?
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT) and Biofeedback are amazing tools in combination. MBCT creates a framework to help us interrupt habitual reactions and to respond more thoughtfully and intentionally. Biofeedback allows us to look inside our bodies and learn to change our physiology and, as a result, our reactions.
