Iris is the owner of ILM Healing Soulutions, LLC. where she aligns with her clients to co-facilitate healing through alternative mental and body healing practices such as yoga, mindfulness, healing coaching, reiki, and more. Iris promotes good mental health hygiene. Additionally, she educates her clients on women’s wellness and sexual health.

What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
I am a practitioner who understands that wellness + healing is a journey, not a destination. I not only have the education and credentials but also the personal experience of being able to navigate healing in the 4 bodies (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.) Becoming a wellness professional was most certainly a path guided by the divine. When you come from where I come from and you adapt alternative modalities of healing that once was used by our ancestors, it becomes a purposed path to share the knowledge, gifts, and help co-facilitate healing in others. How my clients describe their first visit?
During our first visit Iris reviews her policies/practice documents and begins building rapport with clients and setting SMART goals. Iris truly aligns with her clients in a soulution-focused manner to strategize a healing plan for optimal results. Iris listens and meets her clients where they are in their healing journey and offers support/guidance.
What I say to someone who has never tried Yoga?
Yoga is more of a work-in than a work-out which is a contributor to people's resistance to yoga or mindful movement. I always tell my students, how you treat yourself on your mat is likely how you treat yourself off your mat...if fear, shame, or self-consciousness ect is showing up on your mat.. it's likely showing up off your mat in your relationships, interactions + more.
