I specialize in working with injuries, athletes, pain, stress and muscle soreness using a variety of therapeutic modalities. Therapeutic Massage, Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Meditation. My sessions are therapeutic in nature and aim at resolving pain or problems related to muscle overuse, stress, fatigue, poor posture or structural concerns. I work confidently with your injury, ailment or muscular skeletal concerns and have had a healing practice for over 15 years with many years experience working in medical settings.
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
After becoming Ill while working in the Non Profit sector with street children in India I moved into a Meditation Ashram in California. My days were filled with studying the teachings and practices of Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation. I improved my diet and lifestyle, practiced yoga and meditation and went to massage and yoga therapy school. I slowly regained my fittness and health and felt a greater sense of well being. I was able to assist others with their healing and set up a private practice in the SF Bay Area

What I say to someone who has never tried Yoga Therapy ?
Yoga therapy looks at the Mind / Body in terms of how imbalances are presenting in the form of illness or injury in the individual. Yoga Therapy uses diet and lifestyle corrections, postures , meditation and breath practices to aid in returning a body to balance. Yoga Therapy and massage therapy work well together and work particularly well with injuries and adhesions., posture imbalance, stress and anxiety / depression.
