What inspired me to become a wellness professional?

I've worked in the medical field since 1995, over the past 24 years I've been honored to help my patients find optimal health. Over time I became discouraged about the state of our health care system and conventional medicine as a whole and wanted more for my patients and for myself as a clinician. When I found Functional Medicine, everything clicked. A light bulb went on and since then practicing Functional Medicine has brought me and my patients so much joy and satisfaction.

How my clients describe their first visit?

Our initial visit takes as long as the patient needs. We review all of the questionnaires you have filled out prior to our visit so that I, the clinician have a complete background of your health history and current symptoms. During the visit we expand on that by asking more questions and getting to know you individually and what matters most to you. Our goal is to narrow in on what you've been dealing with and create a plan that will uncover the root cause of your symptoms. We do this in collaboration, with you the patient in the driver's seat.

What I say to someone who has never tried

If you've been told, "there is nothing wrong that I can see", or "all of your labs look normal" or, "I'm sorry there is nothing else we can do" then you should consider a Functional approach to your symptoms. We will dive deep to discover the root cause by using Functional Medicine testing and a holistic approach to what you're dealing with.
