My orientation is primarily psychodynamic, which means I will be curious about your early life and how your patterns of thinking and feeling initially came to be. The coping mechanisms implemented by a toddler or young child are often brilliant and effective, but as adults, we should probably update them. I am trained in a variety of body-centered modalities, which can help you access the innate wisdom of your body. I am certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and frequently use mindfulness based techniques to address psychological concerns such as anxiety and depression.
