Learn more about Karyl and Ian
My husband and I founded our business to encourage clients to recover from trauma, anxiety, and shame by taking a JOY-FOCUSED, RESULTS-BASED approach.
Having worked as an LPC for over a decade, my husband discovered that he wanted to cut through the noise surrounding mental health care. What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
The inspiration to become a wellness professional came from a life of painful experience and the challenge to connect to the spark that I craved to have in life.
Working with other wellness professionals inspired us to take a different approach to our own healing. It has been transformative and powerful. I feel more alive and more human than ever before.
This was a large part of our inspiration for our program. This is what we seek to bring our clients every single day.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Our clients have described their first visit as powerful and rich, leaving them feeling validated and more capable to accomplish the things they desire most. The first visit is where we assess each client and help them develop a personal roadmap and understand clearly how it works.
What I say to someone who has never tried
Life is difficult and will always bring challenges and trials. However, we have learned that focusing too heavily on trying to get to the root of an emotional problem often becomes a rabbit-hole. Even when someone is able to get to the root issue, the amount of time and emotion spent getting there does little to change the trajectory towards living joyfully (which is the real cure for most negative emotions). We will teach you the "how and why" to joy-focused recovery and help you apply it into your life.
