Dr. Sweeney follows a more holistic approach with her practice, Better Together. Her practice specializes in emotional trauma and relief from other painful experiences that block the free-flow of energy.
She is dedicated to helping people overcome personal challenges, establish healthy balance and achieve lasting change through mindfulness-based approaches. These practices are helpful for clients faced with issues such as anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress symptoms, depression, relationship/family issues, stress-related physical problems and life transitions.
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
Dr. Kristin learned of the Emotional Freedom Technique as a teenager who watched her mother suffer anxiety and depression while she navigated divorce. While growing up, watching her family endure tough times and personally understanding the benefits of therapy piqued her interest in becoming a therapist.
