My passion (besides hypnosis) is riding my motorcycle in the beautiful mountains of Utah. My husband and I are raising our severely disabled grandson who is 13; he is the sunshine in our lives. I enjoy teaching the 100 hour hypnosis training course to certify other consulting hypnotists. Visit BrighamHypnosis.com
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
A dear friend was diagnosed with metastatic cancer at age 39. That was considered terminal. He went to the City of Hope cancer research center in CA for treatment. Besides chemo and radiation therapy, they taught him to use self-hypnosis to manage his pain and to shrink the tumors. He lived another 27 years cancer-free. As an RN, I was determined to add hypnosis to my "tool box."
How my clients describe their first visit?
After their first visit my clients often speak of the hope they have of finally conquering their "Goliaths." They are excited to find the roots of their problems and optimistic for their futures.
What I say to someone who has never tried hypnosis?
It's relaxing. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis so you are always in complete control and will remember the work we do. I can't control anyone's mind, but I can assist you to use your own mind in new and effective ways to reach your goals.
