I have been a Sexological Bodyworker for only 2 years but I am passionate about my work and the personal journey that brought me to it. I have also been an award winning artist and photographer, exhibiting in museums and galleries worldwide. What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
Spirituality and connection has always been central to my life. For many decades, my artwork revolved around spiritual themes and I saw being an artist as a spiritual practice, a way to guide others. As I worked through my own issues around sexuality and met more and more people also suffering and searching for solutions for their issues, I discovered a new path for myself. First, I studied Sexological Bodywork. Then I decided to add more tools to augment my practice and got my certifications in Hypnosis and Reiki.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Many of my clients arrive in my office feeling broken in some way and unsure as to where or who to turn to. Most medical professionals or therapists have limited knowledge and experience with sexual concerns. They would rather prescribe a pill or surgery which often compounds the problem. My clients find in my office a haven of compassion, understanding, and lack of judgement. Together, we can get to the root of their problems and find a solution though body based experiences and trained, consensual one way touch.
What I say to someone who has never tried Sexological Bodywork?
Trained, trauma-informed, one-way touch, offered with a full heart, total respect, and zero judgment, in an ethical, positive environment, contoured to the needs of the individual client can help to heal on many levels. I'd love to tell you more about it and what it might do for you.
