Earlier on, my nursing practice in the hospital setting was dedicated to helping people adjust to life with a chronic illness. Along the way, I discovered for myself that a mindfulness meditation practice helped me live a life of greater balance, connection and ease. With more training I began teaching Jon Kabat-Zinn's curriculum, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
