Earlier on, my nursing practice in the hospital setting was dedicated to helping people adjust to life with a chronic illness. Along the way, I discovered for myself that a mindfulness meditation practice helped me live a life of greater balance, connection and ease. With more training I began teaching Jon Kabat-Zinn's curriculum, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
I have always been a nurse. At this time in my life I am focused on helping folks develop self-care practices and habits that will help them live long and vital lives.
