When life threw me a curveball (a massive brain tumor!) at only 40 years old, I wanted to do absolutely everything I could to beat the odds and regain a decent quality of life after surgery. I had been living a beautiful life as a wife, mother of two, artist/business owner and adventurer, and had lost my ability to walk, eat, drink and see straight (to name a few). As I blended ancient, holistic practices with modern science and did all that I could for my mind and body to support a strong recovery, I saw...
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
My own brain tumor adventure was a blessing in disguise, in that it presented me with the opportunity to recognize the power and influence that our environments have over our emotional and physical health. While I have always naturally been drawn to the process of creating beautiful spaces, it is the depth, intention and connection inherent in the practice of Feng Shui that fuels my passion to support others in having access to it as a wellness practice and healing modality.
How my clients describe their first visit?
"Sara is amazing! She's so easy to talk to and I never felt judged, in spite of sending her completely untidy pictures of the space I needed help with."
"Sara was a huge help in improving my environment and overall sense of well-being!"
"Sara did an amazing job at making Feng Shui relatable and understandable to someone who had no background or knowledge of it."
"Sara was wonderful to work with. She offered suggestions that were easy to implement right away, then followed up with additional ideas that could be done over time."
What I say to someone who has never tried Feng Shui?
There are many misconceptions about Feng Shui and many different approaches. My goal is simply to help my clients identify both the subtle and obvious issues in their environments that are contributing to the problems they're experiencing in life, and then to offer them strategic action steps and creative solutions to open a flow of positive change as quickly as possible. (I aim to start with suggestions that cost little or no money at all, and I encourage the idea of incremental, affordable upgrades as time and finances allow.)
