For over 30 years, I’ve helped brands promote and reinvent themselves for the world stage. Now, I work with women to help them identify their strengths, live their values and engage more confidently in their world—in school, at work, with families and loved ones.
I graduated from Barnard College and received my health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I live in Washington, DC and now serve at the pleasure of two imperious cats and a dachshund, who could use a little work on the self-assertiveness front.
What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
I was a "fat girl," and grew up thinking I took up too much space and that love was conditional on how much I weighed and how many "A"s I got. Not exactly a road to happiness.
At the ripe old age of 22, I said to myself, "I can't do this anymore. I cannot do and fail at one more diet." And just like that, I stopped. Over time, I created a healthier relationship with food and a more loving one with my body. The moral of the story is: you can too.
