What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
After being a professional dancer and having my own Dance Company in my youth, I sustained many injuries. I got re introduced to Yoga and used it to help heal and deal with chronic pain. Since then I have become a Yoga therapist. I love to help people help themselves.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Very relaxing, soothing and rewarding. They learned how to become more aware of ways to help themselves.
What I say to someone who has never tried Yoga Therapy?
Come try one of my classes to see what Yoga Therapy is. Mondays 6:30, Fridays 11:30, Saturdays 1pm all virtual at www.yogablend.com. Tuesdays & Thursdays 12 at www.bindupoint.com .Most people don't know the difference between regular Yoga and Yoga Therapy. It is much more detailed and adaptive. Allowing each individual to create their own program that is suited to their own special needs. I tell students to think of Yoga Therapy being like physical therapy, but with a spiritual focus and attention to the breath.
