My journey to transform my health and happiness began in 2006 when I discovered the power of qi (energy) in combating my chronic stress, pain and illness. Inspired by the benefits I experienced through Energy Medicine Yoga ™, Medical Qigong and Tai Chi Easy™, I started my own business, Peaceful Heart Yoga, to share these practices with others.

What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
Energy medicine techniques enabled me to heal my own chronic conditions/pain. This inspired me to teach and share the methods with others so they too can begin their own journey for better health.
How my clients describe their first visit?
Students are always amazed at how quickly they can calm their mind and release stress through simple breath-work and movement. At the end of each class, they feel inner peace (peaceful heart) regardless of what is happening in their life or the world.
What I say to someone who has never tried EMYoga/Qigong or Tai Chi Easy class?
We may not be able to change what happens in our life or the world, but we can change our response. The sooner we learn techniques to manage stress and calm the mind, the healthier we are.
