What inspired me to become a wellness professional?
Through my personal journey through injury and not feeling great in my body, the practice of yoga became the one modality that not only helped me most but has evolved as I have evolved (and aged).
So it brings me great joy to share the tools of yoga therapy with other individuals in chronic pain, recovering from injury, post-operative rehab and to help build an awareness towards injury prevention. To guide individuals towards a deeper understanding of their body, be curious about their pain and to feel empowered in the knowing that it IS possible to feel better.

What I say to someone who has never tried yoga?
Being "flexible" isn't just about the flexibility of our physical body, but also the flexibility of our mind. The practice of yoga includes more than just physical postures. It is an eight-limb "path" that addresses the whole person. Therefore, it is a practice that can be tailored and modified to suit anyone and everyBODY.
