You are the person to define your success! Got it? Good! What one person views as being successful may not be the same as another's. There isn't a right or wrong formula to achieve success. It is personal knowledge and satisfaction that determines that a person or group of people achieve their goals. Success is personal. Individuals, not society, should customize how they measure the successful completion of their goals. Here are 5 quick tips to achieving your goals in life; 1. Determine what you want. 2. Know what tools you already have. 3. Identify your barriers. 4. Take action. 5. Determine how you will measure success. You may view others as successful, based on subjective measures of success. But remember, success is personal. It is about your satisfaction with accomplishing what you set out to achieve. When others deem you successful, kindly say thank you, and move on to achieving your goals of attaining self-defined success. A coach can help you set your goals and support you as you achieve them!

Hi Tristan, this is a great question and a very common saboteur that we as individuals come across and thus, must learn how to overcome. Some great strategies you can use to overcome this limiting belief is to first, acknowledge that you are a whole and resourceful individual. You are capable of attaining whatever goal you set out for yourself. Next, instead of comparing yourself to others, take a minute and list the values that define who you are - family, friends, honesty, acceptance, money, etc. Rank your values from most important to least important. At the end of this activity you might find that your true definition of a successful life does not include the amount of money you have. Based on the values you list, the next steps you take will vary. I would love to sit down and chat with you about these next steps!

Hey there Tristan! First, I want to suggest that when we compare ourselves to others, we are always going to come up short. It’s something our brain does to keep us safe, not take risk, and find evidence proving the story that we all have going on in our heads - that we’re not good enough. That said, I think we all have different dreams and wants out of what we desire in life. What do you want? If you were to look into the future & create a vision of what your life would look like at it’s ideal, (not comparing yourself to what your friends want or are doing, but what YOU really want) what would that be? THEN, keeping that vision in your mind, start taking small steps towards what you want. NOW - part of the answer here depends on why you think that you’re not progressing as you think you should. If its because of fear of taking risks, not knowing what to do, or what you want, a life coach could really help you in those areas. Good luck
