10 Myths of Healing

And the truths that will set you free

People get told a lot of things, by well-meaning friends and family members or so-called experts. In my 20+ years of assisting clients here are the most common generalizations and myths I've heard, and the brief versions of how I respond when my clients mention them.

Myth 1

You shouldn’t expect instant results. Change, including healing, takes time and effort. It happens slowly and deliberately.”

The Truth

Energetic change happens in a few seconds or less when you find the real causes of your problem. Once the real cause is addressed, you'll notice yourself feeling better instantly.

Myth 2

You know what’s causing the problem. It’s what your mother did to you when you were

growing up.”

The Truth

The problem is NEVER what you think it is. It’s always something you have not yet acknowledged.

*****

Myth 3

Problems cause pain. If I get rid of the causes (whether physical or non) I’ll be rid of the

pain.”

The Truth

Often it’s actually the other way around. Get rid of the pain – by neutralizing yourself to ITS causes in your consciousness – and you’ll be rid of the problem.

Myth 4

You need to relax more. Speed and tension are bad for you and are putting a strain on your

body and mind. Stress is a killer.”

The Truth

Most people are actually TOO relaxed and do everything too slowly for their own good. Correcting this and optimizing the relationship between tension and relaxation immediately brings more vitality.

Myth 5

You don’t want it or believe it enough. When you really believe it you’ll see it, just like the Law of Attraction states.”

The Truth

Conscious belief is only responsible for 20% of your problems. The rest is subconscious or totally non-conscious and cannot be accessed with the mental faculties alone. (That's part of why I call my services Results Beyond Belief.)

Myth 6

Some people affect you negatively and you need to stay away from them if you want to be healthy and happy. You need to upgrade your relationships, ending friendships and other relationships with the people who bring you down.”

The Truth

Any weaknesses triggered by a relationship can be deleted and the relationship improved so you both get what you need from it with much less conflict and discomfort, until you’re really ready to move on.

Myth 7

You’re not spiritual enough. As long as you’re focused on worldly life you’ll keep getting sick

and be unhappy.”

The Truth

There are processes you’re working on, which arise out of your Earthly experience. As those processes get completed you will naturally be more able to connect with intuitive guidance and higher dimensional energies and bring in your spiritual gifts.

Myth 8

The problem always lies where the pain (physical or non- physical) is. A headache, for example, means there’s something wrong with your head or neck (usually too much tension due to worrying about something). And unhappiness in your job means it’s a bad fit for you.”

The Truth:

Physical pain in one place is often caused by a problem in a completely different area of the body. And non-physical pain (upset) may come from something different from what you think. You may be weak to leaving your house in the morning, for example, not the job you’re going to. Only feeling the energy and using intuition-based insight can tell you for sure what the actual weakness is.

Myth 9

Physical problems require physical remedies. Whether you choose pharmaceutical drugs, natural substances or energetic exercises you need to take or do something to help your body get rid of the pain and the illness.”

The Truth

While remedies – like diet changes, homeopathics, energy transmission and other natural aids or pharmaceutical medicines – can bring some relief, if the underlying weaknesses are not strengthened you will find yourself needing them forever. AND when the weaknesses are handled you probably won’t need or want them at all.

Myth 10 (The other side of the coin of Myth 9)

Physical problems always have non-physical causes. All dis-ease is caused by low vibration, thoughts and beliefs, unhealed trauma or lies you believe about your spiritual nature.”

The Truth

Energy is physical, and even if they originally had a non-physical cause, many energetic weaknesses can be strengthened directly and without accessing the meaning of or reason for the “glitch”. Feeling the energy and using insight will tell you for sure whether the weakness is physical or non- physical and what is required for its deletion.

And a Bonus!

Myth 11

The problem stems from a core issue. You still haven’t cleared the trauma that happened when you were born. Or the problem is your parents made you believe you’re not good enough. So keep working on those things”

The Truth

Generally the things you have been working on forever are no longer affecting you. The current weakness may be due to negative associations with a mundane activity that you would not expect to be the problem. You may even be feeling someone ELSE’s weaknesses. When you feel for the actual weakness and strengthen that you’ll be surprised how your life experience AND feelings about core issues can change.
